Greetings from Perriwinkle!
Hello! I am much the enjoying your visit to this, as they say, 'blog'. I am not yet sure what a blog is, so I intend to use this little piece of the internet to ramble on about nonspecifics and contemplative jibberish!
Who am I? This is unimportant, or yet more specifically, unimportant.
My name is Daniel Harrison Symons. I am doing a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) at Melbourne university and am loving it - learning about learning, students, big smacks and wonderfully fulfilling the purpose that God has awesomely led me towards. I go to Eltham Baptist Church, have recently created a micro-church (cell group) with a group of beautiful people.
I love: tennis (although haven't been in a team since I married my beautiful wife in Nov '03), warhammer, anything science fictiony and medieval fantasy-y, FUTURAMA, film, English and English Literature (this is what I teach!), Risk nights, my family who I miss very much, my in-laws (awesome bunch), C.S. Lewis, Shakespeare (mmmmm....), Monty Python (John Cleese!), Firefly (recently axed sci-fi series), my wife, the thought of teaching in England next year, the though of being a dad, computer games! (Warcraft, Battle for M.E., Deus Ex, and so on and so on and so on), philosophy (my other major in my degree - Freud, Neitszche, Voltaire, Hobbes, etc.), theology (William Lane Craig is a genius), prayer, and some more stuff that I might add later...
My question to you is: turtle.

Quote: "...I love the thought of being a dad??" is there something we hould know about?? and how does loving John Cleese and shakespeare tie in?

What is a perriwinkle??
YOUR SILLINESS IS IMPERATIVE TO YOU SENSE OF JUBULATION!!
GLEE!!
So you're a germy cannonball.
Um, who is this "The Revhead"?
There isn't something you should know about yet (hence the "thought of" bit).
John Cleese is intricately tied to Shakespeare in every way, or, in other words, they don't HAVE to be linked at all, except for the fact that I love both.
No I haven't read "That Hideous Strength". I'm guessing it's awesome though. What's it about?
A Perriwinkle is exactly what you make of it.
Ooooo... Jubilatory cannonballs - you Orrinses are the bestest of bunches.
'That Hideous strength' - last of sci fi trilogy by cs lewis... conspiracy between moderniry and magic to dominate worrld.
John cleese and shakespeare? I guess with those tight tights, the 16th Century actors did do the funny walk a bit.
the babe in the white dress - bit of a looker! Lucky perriwinkle.

PS. What's an "Orrinses"? Sounds orcish to me.
Hehehe... lucky Perriwinkle.
I will have to read this "That Hideous Strength" - I'll create another post about C.S. Lewis for further discussion.
The Orrinses are members of the Orrin clan, aka Luke Orrin and Megan Orrin.
Um, you still haven't told us who you are, Revhead...
heh, heh, heh, you'll have to guess, d-boy. Maybe my name is Adolph pNonymous (with a silent p, as in sychadelic. Or, if you add the number of letters up they come to. hmmm. That's 3+3+3 or HALF the number of the beast 666. Does that mean son of the beast? Why doesn't sour cream go fresh if you leave it out overnight? Does the neighbour of the beast live at 668?
Keep jubilating excessively, big perriwinkle.
anyone seen 'Kingdom of Heaven' - any good?

Hmmm, I reckon it's Sam Wynn. Yep, that's who you are, whether you think you are or not.
So Sam, I was going to see it the other night, but it was on too late for my bro (cos he wakes up at some stupid hour to spend almost 4 hrs on public transport every day). Looks good though, although I'm not sure whether I'm able to watch Legolas trying to be someone else. Legolas is just Legolas, thankyou very much, Orlando Bloom.
Yeah, I'm a bit over those kind of movies at the moment (jump on the bandwagon!) and Orlando Bloom is too much of a pretty boy to play a tough guy. Sorry Orlando, I'm not sure you can pull it off with those big brown puppy dog eyes.
WHERE IS D-BOY??
THE LAST POST WAS AGES AGO!
YOOHOO DBOY!
